Pediatric medical practice in Arlington looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Medical Assistant to coordinate patient care. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, dependable, patient, and comfortable with communication, multitasking, and helping coordinate care needs for a busy pediatric office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Triage
- Referrals
- Phone and message follow-up
- Patient communication
- Maintain workflows
- Occasional help with rooming
Special Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to be patient, possess compassion, and uphold patient confidentiality is a must.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently but also willing to be a team player.
- Must have a pleasant disposition and high tolerance level for diverse personalities.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
- Excellent verbal communications skills, a good customer-service attitude, and professional demeanor are required.
- Must excel in interpersonal communication and interactions with staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with providers, management, all staff members and patients.
- Compliance with the attendance policy.
Minimum requirements:
- Five years experience as a medical assistant in a medical practice
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records.

Pay: $21-23/hour - up to $24/hour with strong pediatric experience
