Medical Assistant / Patient Care Technician (Phlebotomy Preferred)

Livingwell Mobile Wound Specialists is seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician to assist with mobile wound care visits throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This position involves traveling with the provider to patients' homes and assisted living facilities.

Location Preference: Applicants who reside in Mansfield, Arlington, or within approximately 30 minutes of South Arlington/Mansfield are strongly preferred due to the mobile nature of this position and daily travel between patient visits throughout the DFW Metroplex.

Schedule: Part-time (2–4 days per week, flexible based on patient volume)

Responsibilities: Prepare patients for wound care visits.

Obtain and document vital signs.

Assist with wound assessments and procedures.

Assist with photography and measurements of wounds.

Set up and maintain sterile supplies. Clean and disinfect equipment between patients.

Assist with documentation and coordination of care. Drive between patient visits.

Perform venipuncture/phlebotomy when indicated (preferred).

Represent the practice professionally while providing compassionate patient care.

Qualifications: GED or HS diploma required. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Patient Care Technician (PCT) preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.

BLS certification within 30 days of hire

Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Valid Texas driver's license with reliable transportation.

Comfortable working in a mobile environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience in wound care, home health, or geriatrics is a plus but not required.
