Medical Assistant & Patient Coordinator for Sales (Part Time, Saturday's Only)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Assistant with strong Sales and Patient Coordination skills to join our renowned cosmetic surgery team. This hybrid role combines front and back-office medical assistance with sales consultation responsibilities, making it an exciting opportunity for a candidate with both clinical expertise and a talent for patient engagement.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of back-office experience, a passion for assisting in minor cosmetic procedures, and exceptional communication and sales skills to guide patients through their treatment journey.

Responsibilities:

Front Office Duties:

  • Greet and check-in patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Prepare and present treatment quotes
  • Clearly explain aftercare instructions and answer patient inquiries
  • Assist in patient rooming procedures

Back Office Duties:

  • Room patients and take accurate vital signs
  • Assist the doctor during procedures with attentiveness and efficiency
  • Provide detailed aftercare instructions and ensure patient understanding
  • Maintain and update patient records in Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Sales & Patient Coordination Duties:

  • Speak with patients after their consultation to provide personalized treatment plans
  • Develop and present pricing quotes tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Confidently discuss treatment benefits and answer financial inquiries
  • Work closely with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care and scheduling
  • Utilize strong sales techniques to help book and close cosmetic surgery treatments

Schedule:

  • 2-3 Saturdays per month (schedule set one month in advance)
  • Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work Saturdays
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience
  • Experience assisting in surgical procedures is a plus
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to confidently discuss pricing and close treatments
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to empathize with patients while maintaining professionalism
  • Comfortable working with numbers/finances to create pricing quotes

Compensation:

  • $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (base plus commission)
