Medical Assistant Primary Care - EXPERIENCED

Total Health Primary Care, PLLC (THPC) is a privately owned family practice with two full-time physicians, two full-time Nurse Practitioners and a Medicare Wellness Nurse . We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. 4-day work week. 7:30am-5:30pm Mon-Thur.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Primary Care or Internal Medicine
• Experience with Athena EMR preferred
• Spanish-speaking Required

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Taking vitals (manual blood pressure cuffs required)
• Obtaining and documenting medical history
• Performing Pap smears
• Updating medication and problem lists
• Administering injections
• Entering orders
• Managing lab callbacks
• Performing CLIA-waived lab tests
• ABI testing
• Allergy injections and testing
• Spirometry
• Other duties as assigned
