Job Summary

Colorado Accident and Injury is seeking a dependable, professional, and patient-focused Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team in Thornton, Colorado. This position is ideal for a candidate who is strong in both front office reception and care management.

The most important qualities for this role are excellent attention to detail and outstanding customer service. The right candidate will help create a smooth, supportive, and professional experience for every patient from check-in through follow-up care.

This is a part-time Monday/Wednesday/Friday position with the opportunity to expand into a full-time role as our practice continues to grow.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office, urgent care, chiropractic, personal injury, orthopedic, or similar healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with scheduling, patient intake, charting, and care coordination preferred
  • Bilingual is desired, but not required
  • Knowledge of insurance, personal injury, or accident-related care is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk efficiently
  • Verify patient information and assist with intake paperwork
  • Support providers with clinical workflows and patient coordination
  • Assist with care management, including follow-up calls, tracking treatment plans, and helping patients stay on schedule with care recommendations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update patient records with a high level of detail
  • Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and other parties involved in care
  • Help maintain an organized, efficient, and patient-centered office environment
