Medical Assistant – Sand Dermatology (Chino Hills to Diamond Bar)

• Location: Chino Hills, CA (Moving to Diamond Bar, CA in approximately 12 months)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM
• Pay Scale: $23.00 – $29.00 per hour
• Note: Candidates without direct experience may start at an introductory rate of $23.00/hr for the first 90 days. The $28.00–$29.00 range is strictly reserved for candidates entering with extensive dermatology experience and advanced skill sets.

Sand Dermatology is expanding! We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team during an exciting period of practice growth. This position will begin at our current "home base" in Chino Hills, with the entire team transitioning to our beautiful new suites in Diamond Bar (located at 1470 S. Valley Vista Drive) in about a year. Responsibilities

• Assist dermatology providers with patient examinations, cosmetic treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Accurately scribe and document patient visits in the EMR.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage medical supplies.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, prescriptions, and post-procedure care.
• Maintain a professional, warm, and welcoming environment for our patients.

Qualifications

• Experience: Medical Assistant experience is required. (Dermatology-specific experience is required to qualify for the top tier of our new wage scale).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attributes: Reliability, strong attention to detail, a team-first attitude, and a desire to grow with a practice long-term.
