Medical Assistant / Scribe

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant / Scribe. In this vital role, you will assist in procedures, data entry, translate for Spanish-speaking patients, and scribe. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate patient documentation, and compassionate service that enhances the patient experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to receive training from our doctor, who has over 10 years of experience. We are open 4.5 days a week (Tuesday to Friday 8am - 5pm, half-day Saturday 8am-1pm, Mondays - Closed).

Duties

• Perform patient intake procedures.
• Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
• Support administrative functions including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, billing support, and maintaining organized medical records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant; ophthalmology preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Proficient typist and computer work
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
