About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable team member to join our growing outpatient pain management practice. This hybrid role supports both clinical and administrative operations, working closely with providers to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Assistant Duties
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Obtain and document patient history, including medication reconciliation, in the EHR
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Assist providers during procedures (patient prep, equipment, and supplies)
- Operate X-ray and ultrasound-guided equipment during procedures
- Maintain clean, stocked exam and procedure rooms
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and aseptic technique
- Execute provider orders (prescriptions, referrals, procedures, etc.)
- Coordinate and complete follow-up items related to treatment plans
Medical Scribe Duties
- Accurately document patient encounters in real time within the EHR
- Record HPI, ROS, physical exams, and treatment plans
- Support providers with chart completion and workflow efficiency
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Patient Coordinator / Front Desk Duties
- Greet, check in, and check out patients professionally
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments across multiple locations
- Collect and verify patient information (demographics, insurance, case/attorney/referral details)
- Coordinate advanced procedures with vendors, providers, and facilities
- Verify insurance coverage/eligibility, collect co-pays and outstanding balances
- Answer phones and manage patient communications
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Administrative Assistant Duties
- Perform administrative tasks as directed by supervisor
- Manage inventory of medical and office supplies
- Receive, unpack, and organize deliveries; process incoming mail
- Screen advanced procedures for eligibility and coordinate clearances with insurance and surgery centers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior medical office experience or nursing background preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
- Reliable transportation for travel between clinic locations

Schedule
- Monday–Friday (8 am–5 pm; 30 min–1 hour lunch break)
- Coverage as needed
- Travel between clinic sites as needed (Tacoma & Tukwila)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
