Join Our Team:

We are searching for a part-time Medical Assistant for our South Lindbergh Primary Care office located at 11110 Lindbergh Business Court!

Opportunity:

• Part-time opening
• 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday is required. Wednesday is preferred or you may pick your second day (Tuesday or Thursday).
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• Single provider office
• Not benefit eligible
• Option to pick-up hours to cover staff vacations and time off
• Outpatient clinical practice

Day-to-Day:

• Perform back office functions
• Assist the provider in the interviewing, examination and treatment of patients
• Measure vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height
• Perform phlebotomy
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)
• Answer phones
• Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team

Who we are seeking (preferred):

• The Medical Assistant is highly visible in their interactions with patients and must therefore project a positive office image at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
• Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CPR Certification.
• PC/Windows proficiency.
• Medical coding familiarity.
• Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.
