Medical Assistant / Surgical Technician

Job Title: Medical Assistant / Surgical Tech — Plastic Surgery (Immediate Hire)

Pay: $24.00 – $29.00 / hour (based on experience)

Nip & Tuck Plastic Surgery is a boutique Atlanta practice led by Dr. Nicholas Jones, MD, FACS. We are hiring an experienced Medical Assistant / Surgical Tech to join our team immediately. This is a clinical ownership role — you are Dr. Jones's right hand in the office procedure room, and the clinical backbone of the practice. We are looking for someone who has already done this work at a high level and can step in and run with it.

What You'll Do

• Assist Dr. Jones in the OR and minor procedure room — sterile setup, instrumentation, pass and circulate
• Room patients for consults and post-op visits; vitals, history, and documentation
• Sterile processing — clean, wrap, autoclave, and track instruments
• Take standardized pre-op and post-op clinical photography
• Perform suture removal, staple removal, drain checks, and wound care under physician supervision
• Manage supply inventory for exam and procedure rooms
• Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards at all times

Who You Are

• Minimum 2 years as a Surgical Tech, Medical Assistant, or equivalent clinical role
• Active CST, CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA certification in good standing
• Current or previous medical students are encouraged to apply.
• BLS / CPR certified
• Confident with sterile technique, instrumentation, and procedure-room flow
• Prior plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetic practice experience strongly preferred
• Polished demeanor and warm bedside manner — our patients expect concierge-level care
• Strong EMR documentation skills
• Able to start within two weeks
