Medical Technician – ANS Testing | $17/hr | Mon–Fri 8am–5pm | 1099 Contractor

Pay: $17/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Medical Technician to perform Autonomic Nervous System (ANS)testing for patients as a 1099 independent contractor. This test is non-invasive and guided completely by the computer. It's quick to perform and helps physicians assess blood flow and circulation for patients with conditions like diabetes, neuropathy, and cardiovascular issues.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the patient for testing using blood pressure cuffs, electrodes, and a pulse oximeter
• Follow computer-guided instructions to complete each test (10 minutes)
• Document patient information and complete forms (approx. 5 minutes)
• Ensure patient comfort and explain the testing process clearly
• Maintain equipment and workspace between patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of medical office experience
• Friendly, patient-centered approach
• Comfortable with light medical equipment and computers
• EMR experience is a plus (Athena, Epic, etc.)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional

Details:

• 1099 contractor (you are responsible for your own taxes)
• $17/hour
• Full-time, Monday–Friday (8am–5pm)
• No nights or weekends
