Medical Technician – Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) | $15/hr | Mon–Fri 8am–5pm | 1099 Contractor
Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:

We are hiring a bilingual Medical Technician to support our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)program. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with smartphones and patient interaction. You'll teach patients how to use a Bluetooth blood pressure cuff and ensure their readings are sent to their doctor daily.

Responsibilities:

• Identify patients eligible for RPM using diagnosis codes
• Download the app to patients’ smartphones and teach them how to use it
• Pair the app with a Bluetooth blood pressure cuff
• Educate patients on taking readings at least 4x/week
• Monitor compliance and follow up with patients as needed
• Communicate abnormal readings to the clinic
• Log patient interactions and updates
• Need to be able to commute to two locations

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of medical office experience
• Strong communication and teaching skills
• Comfortable with mobile apps and Bluetooth devices
• Familiarity with chronic conditions is helpful
• EMR knowledge is a plus

• 1099 contractor role (independent, not W-2)
• $15/hour
• Full-time, Monday–Friday (8am–5pm)
• No weekends
