Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Platte River Foot and Ankle Surgeons is expanding, and we’re looking for dependable, motivated Medical Assistants to join our patient‑focused team. Whether you’re just starting your healthcare career or bringing years of experience, this role offers hands-on clinical work, a supportive environment, and opportunities to grow.

What You’ll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll support our providers and help deliver excellent patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and taking vitals
• Assisting providers during exams and procedures
• Documenting accurately in the EMR
• Preparing and cleaning exam rooms
• Providing patient education and care coordination
• Supporting clinical operations across multiple locations
• Traveling weekly between our Lincoln and Omaha clinics

What We’re Looking For

• Medical assistant experience preferred (podiatry or orthopedics a plus)
• We are looking for someone to travel daily between our different clinics. We have multiple clinics throughout the state in Norfolk, Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings, Lincoln, Omaha and Gretna.
• Entry‑level candidates with strong communication skills encouraged to apply
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel weekly between Lincoln and Omaha (required)
• Dependable, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn EMR systems
• Commitment to patient‑centered care

Schedule

• Full-time (32–40 hours per week)
• Monday–Friday, daytime hours
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
