Medical Assistant with C-Arm

Seeking a Medical Assistant with C-Arm experience or interest for our busy, growing, specialty practice. Our mission is to restore the quality of life to our patients through interventional treatments and complementary therapies in a compassionate and comfortable environment. This position includes but is not limited to;

• Greeting, triaging and discharging patients.
• Verifying patient information by interviewing patient, obtaining vital signs, medication reconciliation and reviewing, recording and updating medical history.
• Aiding the health care providers during examinations
• Managing electronic prescriptions refills as directed
• Documenting phone calls and messages with accuracy while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Other related duties as assigned
• Able to maneuver C-Arm machinery and assist patient on/off procedure table and in the procedure room.

Requirements

• Education/Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Written and verbal communication and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and understand basic medical terminology
• Competent with technology (tablets, laptops, printing, scanning, etc.)
• Willingness to learn skills in a variety of areas
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, take direction and initiative.
• Self-Motivated

Experience

• Willing to train
• Past C-Arm experience (preferred)

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• Medical Assistant Certification (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
