Medical Assistant with one year of experience, prefer cardiology experience

The Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting as a Medical Assistant.
• Prior experience with front office functions preferred.
• Prior experience of working in a high volume practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assists the providers with preparing patients and the examination rooms, taking initial medical history for the chart, taking vital signs, and explaining the process to the patients
• Completes chart prep for clinic visits in a timely manner
• Keeps medical records in accordance with procedures and forms
• Follows HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality and follows principles of medical ethics for medical assistant
• Keeps rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies
• Assists patients any time need is apparent or as directed by supervisory staff
• Performs other admin related duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
