Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Aesthetician to join our team. This is a full time.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with injectors and other providers to consult with patients, determine their skincare goals, and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Educate patients on available skincare products and present comprehensive treatment plans to maximize their skincare outcomes.
• Ensure all equipment used in therapies is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Record patients' medical histories and treatment information in the appropriate database, reviewing history for the best treatment plans and follow-ups.
• Contribute to social media content for platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
• Assist the office manager and staff with ordering products and managing inventory.
• Recommend products and provide care instructions for clients pre- and post-laser procedures.
• Work with management and the marketing team to create specials that promote sales and services.
• Market yourself and attract new patients to the practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Familiarity with skincare lines.
• Proficiency with treatments including facials, Hydrafacial, microneedling, dermaplaning, and chemical peels.
• Maintain professionalism in presentation and demeanor at all times.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Master the clinical language of a medical aesthetics practice, understanding key procedures and treatments.
• Flexibility with workflow and schedule changes.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Effective time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a med spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery practice.
• Preferred: Existing client book/following.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Cosmetology License (Preferred)
