Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe and Medical scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe and Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our medical professionals by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. Duties
- Accurately document patient histories, physical examinations, and other clinical information during patient visits.
- Assist healthcare providers by ensuring that all relevant information is captured in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Record vital signs and other pertinent data as required during patient assessments.
- Collaborate with medical staff to enhance the efficiency of patient care in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, urgent care, and emergency medicine.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information.
- Support the medical team in a Level II Trauma Center environment by providing timely and accurate documentation.
- Participate in medication administration documentation and ensure proper recording of treatment plans.
Skills
- Strong understanding of hospital medicine practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols and urgent care operations.
- Ability to accurately document vital signs and basic life support measures.
- Experience or knowledge related to inpatient and outpatient care settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
