Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe for American Executive Health System (AEHS)

American Executive Health System (AEHS), a multi-specialty medical group and part of Privia Medical Group locating in Annandale, Virginia is seeking a Full-Time Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant to join our growing team. Our practice provides family medicine, walk-in care, and cardiology services.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with physicians in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment and gain valuable hands-on medical experience.

This role is ideal for Certified Medical Assistant or Foreign Medical Graduates pursuing a career in healthcare.

Schedule

· Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

· Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (weekend shift availability is a plus)

Preferred Experience

· Family medicine

· Internal medicine

· Urgent care

· Cardiology

· Foreign Medical Graduates are welcome to apply

Qualifications

· Punctual and dependable

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Basic computer proficiency

· Typing speed ≥ 50 WPM

- Bilingual candidates preferred; fluency in Spanish is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

· Take and record vital signs

· Draw blood and collect laboratory specimens

· Document medical histories

· Prepare patients for examinations

· Assist physicians during exams

· Perform medical quality measure screening and documentation

· Perform in-house tests(Strep, Flu, HCG pregnancy test, Hemosure)

· Perform injections and EKGs

· Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician

· Maintain inventory of medical supplies
