Medical Assistant/Ophthalmic Technician

We are a busy, patient-centered ophthalmology office committed to proving exceptional eye care in a professional and welcoming environment. Our practice includes a team of 3 highly experienced board certified ophthalmologists, 1 board certified optometrist, and a friendly, professional staff.

Position Overview:

The Ophthalmic Assistant supports our doctors by preforming clinical tasks, preparing patients for exams, and preforming diagnostic testing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented reliable, and passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities :

• Vision tests and record patient histories
• Checking IOP (tonopen and applanation)
• Administering dilation drops
• Diagnostic testing (VF, OCT, Photo, A-Scan, Topography)
• Scribing for our 4 Doctors
• Support the clinical team

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and organization skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient care
• Ability to work well in a face-paced, team oriented environment

Hours :

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am-430pm (NO WEEKENDS)

Tuesday 9-5:30pm or 10-6:30pm (must be able to work Tuesday evenings)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
