Duties:

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes.
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting patients at discharge, and preparing patient's rooms.
• Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up communications efficiently.
• Assist with clinical documentation including ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) for accurate billing and record-keeping.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Handle administrative duties like answering phones, managing patient records, and coordinating with physician's offices.

Skills:

• Proficiency with EHR systems for documenting and scheduling.
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verifications and basic life support certification.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently in outpatient settings.
