Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This vital role combines front-office administrative support with clinical assistance to ensure seamless patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and current medications accurately during patient intake
• Prepare examination rooms, assist providers with procedures, including X-ray operations and medication administration when necessary. EXPERIENCE WITH FLUOROSCOPY AND ULTRASOUND GUIDED INTERVENTIONAL PROCEDURES DEFINITELY A PLUS.
• Support clinical tasks such as performing basic physiology assessments, taking patient measurements, and assisting with ICD coding for diagnoses
• Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up coordination, and maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a comfortable environment for all patients across outpatient clinics or hospital settings

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or Receptionist in healthcare environments such as dermatology clinics, hospital medicine units, urgent care centers, or outpatient facilities
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical-surgical documentation practices
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or hospital experience are a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle intake processes efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills focused on providing compassionate patient care and clear instructions
• Interventional Pain experience using fluoroscopy and ultrasound a plus.
