Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Collect and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, documentation, and preparation for examinations or procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Prepare exam rooms by sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for outpatient visits.
• Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and coordinate referrals across various specialties.
• Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a smooth flow of clinic operations.

Experience

• Previous experience working in a healthcare environment such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or urgent care centers is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, ICD coding practices, and medication administration protocols is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient data efficiently and accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs collection.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
