Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Collect and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, documentation, and preparation for examinations or procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Prepare exam rooms by sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for outpatient visits.
- Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and coordinate referrals across various specialties.
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a smooth flow of clinic operations.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or urgent care centers is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, ICD coding practices, and medication administration protocols is essential.
- Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient data efficiently and accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs collection.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
