Medical Assistant/Scribe

Our busy podiatry practice is looking to add an additional medical assistant/scribe. We are a 4 physician practice with 2 offices. Job responsibilities include: obtaining medical information from our patients and entering it into our electronic medical records system, bringing patients into examination rooms and readying them to be seen by a physician, taking x-rays, assisting with minor office procedures, and cleaning/preparing/stocking rooms and instruments for the physicians to utilize.

Ideal candidate could transition to front desk or work as a medical scribe in the office.

No medical experience is required, but highly preferred. Ability to comfortably use a computer with some typing skills preferred. Will teach necessary skills to perform the job.

Job Type: Full-time or part-time

Salary: $17-18.50 per hour depending on current skills

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Every other Saturday Morning.

After probationary period, employee is eligible for health and life insurance, 401k, and other fringe benefits.
