Job Announcement: Medical Biller

Heart and Vascular Wellness Center is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our dedicated billing department. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for accuracy, a strong understanding of cardiology billing, and the ability to contribute to a fast-paced healthcare setting.

This is an on-site position. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit clean claims to payers and follow up on denials or unpaid accounts.
• Review CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for accuracy.
• Post payments and reconcile EOBs and ERAs.
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding balances.
• Assist with appeals and documentation support.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial payer guidelines.
• Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of billing experience in a specialty clinic preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac coding and EHR systems (eCW preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
