Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Biller to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the billing process for medical services, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, and maintaining clear communication with insurance providers and patients. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller with expertise in psychology and behavioral health billing, particularly with Medicare and related insurance plans.

Responsibilities

• ✔ Experience billing for psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, or behavioral health providers in snf facilities
• ✔ Strong knowledge of Medicare guidelines, regulations, and documentation requirements✔ Experience with CPT codes commonly used in psychology and neuropsychology (e.g., psychotherapy, health behavior services, psychological testing, neuropsychological testing)✔ Ability to submit claims, track denials, process appeals, and follow up on unpaid claims✔ Familiarity with EHR and billing software platforms✔ Knowledge of Medicare Advantage plans, secondary insurance billing, and coordination of benefits preferred✔ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
