Medical Biller

Overview
As a Medical Biller, you will manage the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims. This position offers a highly independent and flexible working space where your skills in medical billing and coding will be valued and utilized to their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with coding standards such as CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, and ICD-10.
• Review medical records for completeness and accuracy, verifying that all necessary documentation supports billing codes.
• Maintain detailed records of billing activities.
• Stay current with industry regulations, updates in ICD coding standards, and changes in insurance policies to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in Mental Health Therapy & Medicare Physical Therapy Billing Required
• Proficiency in medical coding systems including CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG classifications.
• Experience with various EMR/EHR systems for billing, record keeping, and claim submission processes.
• Certification is highly advantageous but not required
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a must

Pay: Up to $150.00 per day
