Medical Biller/Claims Research/Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Biller/Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology and coding systems, including ICD-10 . This role is crucial in providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring accurate handling of medical records, billing, and collections.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding medical records, billing, and coding with professionalism and clarity.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to assist clients effectively.
• Process and manage medical billing and collections in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions within our systems.
• Collaborate with the medical office team to resolve issues related to patient accounts.
• Provide support in navigating our coding systems, including ICD-10 ensuring accuracy in all documentation.
• Assist in training new staff on customer service protocols and systems as needed.
• Various other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with medical records management, medical billing, and coding practices is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to patient care and billing processes.
• Proficiency in using various computer systems for data entry and record keeping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
