Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Biller/Collector to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing billing and collection process, ensuring accurate coding, timely submission of claims, and effective follow-up on outstanding balances. Your expertise will help optimize revenue cycle management and maintain compliance with industry standards. This position contributes to the office success as you mediate your skills for us to accommodate patient care and organizational success. This position is to accommodate billing for Acupuncture and Chiropractic services.
Duties
- Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), , ICD-10
- Review medical records and documentation to ensure proper coding and billing accuracy
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective communication with insurance companies and patients
- Manage medical collections by resolving billing discrepancies
- Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility prior to billing processes
- Collaborate with medical office staff to ensure compliance with medical terminology, coding standards, and documentation requirements
Requirements
- Utilize Office Ally billing processes
- Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or collections within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10, and ICD coding principles
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and insurance claim procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective follow-up with insurance providers and patients
- Ability to interpret complex medical documentation accurately and efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
