Full-Time Medical Billing and Coding Specialist

Providence Home Medical is a Durable Medical Equipment provider that focuses on delivering products and brands that consumers depend on for their daily healthcare needs. We are a small, team-oriented office in McMurray, PA with a focus on strong customer service.

Job Summary

Responsible for reviewing patient records, assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses and procedures, submitting insurance claims, and managing billing processes to ensure proper reimbursement.

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in medical billing and coding.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review patient documentation for accuracy and completeness

· Verify patient eligibility and benefits for both primary and secondary insurances

· Experience with provider portals- Noridian, CGS, Availity, Navinet, Office Ally

· Assign appropriate codes using ICD-10 and HCPCs

· Review and prepare high-volume of DME claims accurately and in a timely manner

· Submit insurance claims to payers (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial)

· Ensure compliance with regulations such as HIPAA

Compensation:

· Competitive salary, based on experience

· Hybrid Schedule, remote and onsite
