Medical Billing and Coding Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist with 2+ years of experience to manage accurate and timely claims processing, payment posting, denial resolution, and insurance follow-up. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, payer guidelines, and revenue cycle management processes. Responsibilities include verifying patient insurance, submitting electronic claims, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency with EMR/EHR and medical billing software. Prior experience in multi-provider or specialty practices (cardiology) preferred. Bilingual English & Spanish preferred but not a requirement. Candidates local to Chicago suburbs need only apply.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
