Grace MindCare is a growing outpatient mental health practice committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Billing & Claims Specialist to support our outpatient billing and revenue cycle operations.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for submitting and managing insurance claims, posting payments, and following up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement for outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit and manage outpatient insurance claims accurately and timely.
• Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts.
• Follow up on denied, rejected, or unpaid claims and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility as needed.
• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with payer guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with insurance companies and internal team members.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in medical billing (outpatient experience required; behavioral health preferred).
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and insurance claims processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with EHR and billing platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time role.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
