Revenue Cycle Billing Manager

We are looking for determined, detail-oriented candidates with experience in primary care, urgent care billing or revenue cycle management who can work remotely. The Revenue Cycle Specialist will provide support for all aspects of insurance billing, as well as claims follow up and collections. This position will have direct contact with patients and the appropriate third-party payers for unpaid claims including denied claims and those requiring appeal, as well as non-payment, overpayments, and underpayments.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and Manage Billing Specialists.

-Ensure completeness of claims by following national, local, and internal billing requirements promoting prompt and accurate submission and payment. Maintain awareness of current regulations.

- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and appeal when necessary.

- The ability to make outbound patient calls to answer questions, collect payments, and manage collections.

- Demonstrate understanding of third-party payers' EOBs and specific time limitations for appeals for all lines of business served.

- Maintain patient information confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education a plus.

- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare related experience in billing and collections.

- Knowledge with CMS 1500 Billing Forms, EOBs, claims, ICD-10 coding, and charges is required.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding healthcare providers chart notes for billing and insurance purposes

- Preferred experience with Athena billing software.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.

- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
