• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims promptly, identifying reasons for denials and resubmitting corrected claims as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify billing information and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions, adjustments, and correspondence for audit purposes.
• Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and coding standards such as ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, explaining charges clearly and providing necessary documentation or payment options.
