POSITION: Medical Billing Specialist

LOCATION: Elizabethtown, Kentucky

QUALIFICATIONS:

• high school diploma
• minimum of two years experience in behavioral healthcare/medical billing and collections
• experience with UB04 forms, 1500 forms, ICD10/CPT codes, and modifiers required by insurance providers
• ability to meet insurers’ requirements for appeals and timelyfiling of claims

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:

• timely, accurate followup and resolution of unpaid and denied medical claims (using telephone, written correspondence, online platforms, email, etc.)
• interact with insurance representatives
• prepare documentation for the appeal of denied claims
• post claims to insurance providers for reimbursement of services

SHIFT: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
