Surgical Associates of Neenah is seeking a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our busy, well‑respected surgical practice. You’ll work closely with a collaborative in‑office team to ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement.

Responsibilities include:

• Submit and process insurance and patient payments
• Review, research, and correct claims; resolve denials and rejections
• Follow up on outstanding and delinquent accounts
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing questions
• Maintain accurate account, demographic, and payer information
• Prepare refunds and correct billing errors as needed
• Support checkout staff and assist with special projects

Qualifications:

• Experience with medical billing, A/R, collections, and denials preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of reimbursement methods and fee schedules a plus
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• ICD-10: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Billing: 1 year (Required)
