Medical Billing Specialist

The responsibilities includes:

Ability to obtain insurance benefits and request authorizations

Properly coding services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments in compliance with coding guidelines and policies.

CPT coding knowledge

Post charges

Preparing and sending claims for payment, follow up on denied claims, re submit claims.

Requirements:

Billing certification preferred, but not required

At least 2 years of billing experience

Computer knowledge

Medical terminology and anatomy knowledge

Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
