Medical Billing Specialist

The Center for Sleep Medicine is a forward-thinking, AASM-accredited, and 100% employee-owned practice specializing in comprehensive sleep care.

We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Orland Park, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for Insurance Accounts Receivables, which requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong customer service skills.

This is a full-time position.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all claims are properly billed for all services
• Ensure payments are received and processed in a timely manner
• Work all denials
• Resolve inappropriate payments with insurance carriers
• Reconcile accounts and follow up on any delinquent accounts

Requirements:

• CPT experience required
• ICD-10 experience preferred
• AR experience preferred
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Self-motivated with strong customer service skills
