JS Medical Billing, located in Bel Air, MD - Harford County, is looking for a full-time MEDICAL BILLING PROFESSIONAL with 1 year+ of experience!

Responsibilities:

Full financial cycle consists of:

• Electronic Claims and Remittance
• Clearinghouse processing and routing
• Pre-remittance proprietary edits
• Clearinghouse edits

Payment Posting:

• EOB Indexing and Imaging
• Reconciliation

Secondary Filing:

• Auto-matching of claims with documentation
• Efficient filing with the payer

Patient Billing:

• Statements

A/R Management:

• Resolution of charge issues
• Correct issues across accounts

Qualifications:

• 1 year+ of experience required
• Competent in a billing cycle.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, familiarity with CPT, ICD-10 codes and modifiers, understanding of insurance verification and authorizations and ability to interpret explanation of benefits.
• Experienced with claim submissions, claim denials, claim follow-up, appeals, collections and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payers
