We are a busy medical practice seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team as claims follow-up specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching unpaid claims, resolving denials, and communicating with insurance carriers to ensure timely reimbursement.Job Tasks:<ul><li>Follow up on outstanding insurance claims</li><li>Analyze and resolve claim denials and rejections</li><li>Contact insurance companies regarding claim status</li><li>Correct and resubmit claims</li><li>Work aging reports to ensure timely payment</li><li>Other billing duties as needed</li></ul>Experience Needed:<ul><li>Medical billing or claims follow-up experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 guidelines</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organization skills.</li><li>Experience with EMR or medical billing systems a plus</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
