What You'll Do

As an Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring timely reimbursement and supporting both patients and providers through the revenue cycle process. Responsibilities include:

• Managing insurance accounts receivable and maintaining ownership of assigned accounts
• Researching and resolving claim denials and payment discrepancies
• Preparing and submitting insurance appeals
• Processing refunds and account adjustments as needed
• Communicating effectively with insurance carriers, patients, and internal teams
• Identifying and resolving billing issues through critical thinking and problem-solving
• Delivering outstanding customer service with professionalism and empathy
• Supporting departmental goals and assisting with additional projects as assigned by leadership

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Billing and/or Accounts Receivable
• Strong understanding of insurance claims, denials, and appeals processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Experience with Medent EMR is a plus

Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 per hour
