Medical Case Manager- Personal Injury

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Case Manager specializing in Personal Injury to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Evaluate client cases by reviewing medical records, insurance policies, and legal documents to determine coverage and treatment needs
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule appointments, obtain medical reports, and monitor treatment progress
• Conduct thorough interviews with clients to gather detailed injury and recovery information, ensuring accurate case documentation
• Manage legal case files using systems such as PCLaw, iManage, and document management software to maintain organized records
• Perform legal research on personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and related legal areas using Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case development
• Draft clear and precise legal documents, reports, and correspondence related to personal injury claims
• Review and analyze legal documents including contracts, settlement agreements, and insurance policies for accuracy and compliance
• Provide administrative support by data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining efficient office workflows
• Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals on litigation strategies involving personal injury cases
• Utilize project management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience or legal administrative experience with a focus on personal injury law preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and iManage
• Familiarity with case management systems like PCLaw and document management platforms
• Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to gather detailed client information accurately
• Proficiency in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and document review processes
• Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, securities law, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, land use law or other specialized legal areas is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette for client interactions
• Project management capabilities to coordinate tasks efficiently within a busy legal environment
• Ability to perform research related to workers' compensation law and other relevant legal fields as needed
