Medical Claims and Collections Specialist

Arkansas Talent Group is working exclusivelywith a well-known dental practice in Little Rock that is closing due to retirement. We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing and Collections Specialist to assist with final insurance claims, patient billing, and outstanding collections during this transition period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and submit outstanding insurance claims with accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow up directly with insurance companies and patients to ensure prompt resolution of unpaid balances.
• Review account ledgers and reconcile payments to ensure accurate balances.
• Manage backlogged billing and verify documentation for completed dental services.
• Track and document all collection activities in the billing system.
• Provide professional communication and maintain confidentiality throughout all patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in medical or dental billing, coding, and collections.
• Strong understanding of insurance claim processes and patient billing follow-up.
• Proficiency with dental billing software and general office systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Details:

• Estimated assignment length: 4–6 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
