Medical Coder and Biller

```Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Coder to join our team. you will transcribe patient records and process claims for reimbursements. You will be responsible for selecting the correct codes and functions to be assigned to each instance. You will take patient payments over the phone or in person. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong people skills and computer skills.

Duties:
- Review and verify patient information, medical records, and insurance coverage
- Accurately assign medical codes (ICD-10) to diagnoses and procedures
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Maintain accurate records of all billing activities
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with changes in medical coding regulations and guidelines

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical billing processes and procedures
- Proficiency in using medical billing software systems
- Familiarity with medical coding systems ( ICD-10)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
