Operate as a 1099 independent contractor, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. As a Medical Courier, your deliveries directly support clinical diagnostics and lifesaving treatments. You will be the friendly face and dependable driver responsible for maintaining the integrity of sensitive deliveries while navigating routes with precision and care. Your dedication will also directly contribute to improved patient outcomes and seamless healthcare operations.

• Safely transport temperature-sensitive medical specimens and lab samples from medical facilities to laboratories.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and bloodborne pathogen protocols.
• Execute, document, and track time-sensitive, high-priority routes with precision.
• Handle specialized packaging and secure chain of custody.
• Getting in and out of a vehicle multiple times throughout the day as well as delivering medical supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records.
• Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs at hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare facilities.
• Communicate professionally with clients and healthcare staff during any in person deliveries.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Maintain certain temperatures for specimens
• Safely transport temperature-sensitive medical specimens and lab samples from medical facilities to laboratories.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, and bloodborne pathogen protocols.
• Execute, document, and track time-sensitive, high-priority routes with precision.
• Handle specialized packaging and secure chain of custody.
• Getting in and out of a vehicle multiple times throughout the day as well as delivering medical supplies as needed.
• Experience is a plus but no experience necessary
• Training provided

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within the healthcare industry preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to navigate and understand route details
• Strong customer service skills with clear communication abilities.
• Knowledge of route driving, and safety standards for transporting sensitive materials.
• English speaking and reading

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
