Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver medical items across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments carefully, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Follow established routes efficiently while adapting to traffic conditions and delivery schedules to meet deadlines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with healthcare staff, receptionists, and clients during pickups and drop-offs.
• Ensure all deliveries are handled with care, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and moving delicate medical supplies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to keep the fleet in optimal condition.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
• Prior delivery driver experience, especially within courier or logistics services involving route driving.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, heavy lifting, moving supplies, or operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles; familiarity with <PERSON> driver standards is a plus.
• Physical capability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual tasks related to loading/unloading shipments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.40 - $28.18 per hour
