Duties

• Safely operate your own vehicle to pick up and deliver goods along specified routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo when neccessary
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
• Verify shipment details, complete delivery documentation accurately, and maintain detailed logs of all trips
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route planning and navigation tools
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, moving items, and handling warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures including load & unload processes and inventory handling
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, driving, and vehicle maintenance
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with driver certifications preferred
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment
