• Safely and efficiently operate a vehicle to transport and deliver medical packages
• Load and unload totes full of packages from vehicle
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages, while maintaining integrity of sensitive items
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including reporting in Slack any discrepancies or issues encountered
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers at delivery locations
• Utilize mobile apps and GPS technology to track deliveries and communicate with dispatch or pharmacy staff as needed

Courier Sought:

Rx Minute is looking for dependable and professional medical couriers to do the following:

• Routed Deliveries: Varying routes that normally have a set area and recurring schedule with daily pick ups

**Routes may change unexpectedly based on patient needs**

• Same Day/STAT Deliveries: Deliver orders created and dispatched for end of day delivery
• Backup/Standby: Take over a route when needed

Skills:

• Ability to safely operate a vehicle
• Knowledge of customer operations and procedures
• Excellent route driving skills to navigate efficiently between delivery locations
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with customers

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record required;
• Attentive to detail
• Live within 30 miles of Detroit
• Own a reliable and registered vehicle with current up-to-date insurance;
• A working smartphone and basic technological skills are required to track deliveries, scan in packages, and communicate effectively;
• Prior experience with medical related deliveries and/or other delivery services is essential;
• Prior experience with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality is essential to protect sensitive patient information during deliveries;
• Familiarity with various delivery methods, such as courier services, freight, last-mile delivery, and temperature-sensitive transportation, is preferred;
• Knowledge of proper handling, transportation, and safety protocols of medical products and general goods is a plus;
• Prior experience and willing to drive in inclement weather to service our patients;
• Adherence to patient required professional appearance standards

Commission Details:

• $90-$150 daily, depending on the route, number of packages and pick-ups;
• Earned weekly
• Specific commission details will be discussed during onboarding process

Work Location: In-person, on the road

Transportation: Your own vehicle

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Days: Monday through Friday

Shift: Between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. [all packages MUST be delivered before 8:00 p.m.]; a typical route starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends around 5:00/6:00 p.m.

Pay: $90.00 - $160.00 per day
