Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle with manual transmission to transport medical items across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments carefully, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of fragile or hazardous materials.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with healthcare staff and clients during pickups and drop-offs.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock movement, and storage organization when needed.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, preferably within a healthcare or warehouse environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or commercial vehicle is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual labor involving moving supplies or equipment.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices and adherence to safety regulations.
• Prior experience with heavy lifting, moving supplies, or working in fast-paced delivery settings is advantageous.
