Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmissions to transport medical items across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Ensure accurate delivery and pickup of medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, or equipment at various healthcare facilities.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during route driving.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and healthcare staff upon delivery or pickup.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
• Manage documentation related to deliveries, including logs of load & unload activities and route records.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within a healthcare or warehouse setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while maintaining proper safety techniques.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools for efficient deliveries.
