Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to transport medical items efficiently across designated routes
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of sensitive materials
• Deliver medical specimens, supplies, and equipment to healthcare facilities while adhering to strict timing schedules
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmations for compliance purposes
• Communicate professionally with clients and healthcare staff during deliveries to ensure smooth coordination
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to uphold a high standard of safety on every trip

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, liability insurance
• No more than 3 violations in 3 years and no DUI in 5 years. Pass background check. Drug screening depending on client.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
